These engines are NDH, inhibited (pickled), serviceable complete on engine
mounts with log books and all accessories including exhausts, less one vac pump
and one tacho gen. Overhauls were '92 1400 hrs, and '95 900hrs, but I
bought all new cylinder kits in 2010 ($20K AUD) and about 25 hours since.
They were running perfectly when I removed them in order to install a pair of
IO-520s on my B55. At the time I did not realize that there's practically no
market for them here being, it seems, only applicable to B55s and our GA scene
in Australia is depressed.
Meanwhile, I've sold my Wren 460 to a pilot in Fullerton, CA, where the Wren
started life in 1964 before going to PNG for missionary work, quite a
coincidence. Later this month the Wren will be containerized for shipment and I
can send the engines, courtesy the new owner, with it if I can find a buyer.
am asking $18,000 USD for the pair or Make Offer.
Separately, asking $8,500 USD for the 1400 hour engine and $11,500 USD for
the 900 hour engine or Make Offer.
